Meaning warm or spicy liquid was the Aztec’s original name of the drink we know as Hot Chocolate. Its is warming and not sweet like modern day versions. Health bene-fits are said to include being anti-ageing, a powerful aphrodisiac, improving energy levels and a range of minerals and ‘feel good’ chemicals similar to that of falling in love.

To make add 1 heaped teaspoon to a cup warmed soya/cows milk in a blender. If desired add a dash of brandy for extra flavour and/or a dash of soya/cows cream to thicken.
